BENIN-TAXI is a project to create a modern fleet of taxis initiated by the government of Benin as part of the creation of a modern capital city.
The project entered its active phase on JULY 03, 2017.
The first 50 young people (out of the 300 young people recruited and trained since March 21, 2017) are deployed in the field.
The other 250 young Artisans started in November 2017.
By 2019 the fleet should be close to 700 TAXIS distributed throughout the territory.Geolocation & TechnologiesBenefit from minimal waiting time thanks to our balanced allocation algorithm from the race to the nearest driver.For craftsmen, here is an overview of the features:• Record the administrative documents (gray card, technical visit, TVM, Taxi Law) of the taxi by simply taking a photo.• Receipt of reservation notifications assigned to the driver• Interaction with the customer for the reservation (Accept, Reject, Take charge)• Starting navigation with GOOGLE MAPS to go to the customer or to take the customer to his destination• Registration of customer payments• Printing of the payment receipt for the customer• Consultation of the history of daily recipes• Send an invoice to a customer by e-mail.• Alerts for reminder of expiry of administrative documents (Technical visit, TVM, Insurance)• Alerts for maintenance reminders of each car to its craftsman.****************************NOTE: Our application needs the drivers position to allocate trips efficiently.Our App needs the files to allow drivers to send photos of their car registration, TVM and other documents.
